We woke up, had breakfast and took the train to Angers, a medieval town which is a part of the Loire a Velo route. Angers is really pretty, with many nice buildings to see. Specifically, it has a really nice church.
Undoubtedly, the most impressive monument of Angers is the Château, that reminded us of Winterfell from Game of Thrones.
Touring the Château we climbed on the walls and had a great view.
After the tour we cycled a bit around the town through some nice gardens, and then returned the bicycles and got our luggage back.
We ended our day and the bicycle trip by taking a train to Paris. Unfortunately my French SIM card stopped providing internet access, and we had to ask a local bar owner to lend us his phone so we can call our host. Now we are already in our “rented” apartment in the center of Paris, starting a new part of our tour 🙂
